Aldercote VZ130 (13m) on Ford Transit (2016)

The Aldercote is designed for street light maintenance and highways work. With thirteen metre working height, the hundred and ten degree jib enables precise positioning of the platform and extends the maximum outreach to just over six metres. Installed on a three and half ton ford transit chassis, the aldercote can be driven by anyone with a standard UK licence. The light weight boom and innovative turret design provides three hundred kg of additional payload and a spacious interior compared to other van-mounted boom lifts - ideal for the extra equipment required for modern utilities contracting. The hydraulics and emergency lowering function can both be accessed from inside the van rather than on the roof; a major step forward in improving health and safety, while also making Aldercote van-mounted booms much easier (and safer!) to service.
